VCC offers the only full-time 10-month Steel Detailing certificate program in BC.

Event Details

We invite fabricators, detailing companies and others in the steel construction sector to a Steel Day Open House at the VCC CAD and BIM Department, to learn more about the only Steel Detailing specialty program in Western Canada.

Doors are open between the hours of 10.00am and 2.00pm at our Downtown campus at 250, West Pender Street, Vancouver. On-street parking is available, as well as in numerous local parking lots. Our campus is 100% wheelchair accessible.

Our specialty classrooms will be open for drop-in visits, where guests will have an opportunity to meet with instructors and students, and learn about the curriculum of our three specialty 1-year Certificate programs and our 2-year Diploma program.

At 10.30am and again at 1.30pm, presentations of our three drafting specialties, Steel Detailing, Architectural, and Civil/Structural, will be given by the Department Head, Bruce McGarvie B.Sc. Dip. Eng.

Coffee and cookies will be available throughout your visit.
